About Cosmic Chronicles

Cosmic Chronicles was founded by Evelyn Janeidy Arevalo in November 2023. After years of writing for other organizations, she decided to create her own site to publish educational content and news updates about the spaceflight industry.

“My primary focus is to write factual, educational, and informative stories —with a sprinkle of excitement for making life multiplanetary,” said Evelyn Janeidy. “I love writing about astronomy, spaceflight, and aerospace technology advancements, because the world needs more positive news that has potential to inspire young generations to want to participate in creating a more exciting future for humanity,” she said.

“I am aware the world faces many hardships reported on the news daily. While it’s crucial to stay aware of global issues, it’s also essential to become inspired to create a better future. I hope people who stumble upon my Cosmic Chronicles stories find interesting knowledge and feel inspired to daydream about a future where people look up at the Moonand know there’s a permanent astronaut lunar base, and a possibility of potentially going on a moon tour vacation someday,” said Evelyn Janeidy. “I am an avid supporter of expanding consciousness to Mars and really hope humanity sets foot on the Red Planet in my lifetime.”

“I also hope spaceflight helps humanity discover some of life’s greatest mysteries, including: how consciousness came into existence, whether a God-like being is really out there in the Universe, or if alien extraterrestrial lifeforms exist. I believe the answers are truly out there. That’s why spaceflight technology advancements are so important.”

SpaceX Events

Evelyn Janeidy Arevalo had the honor to meet SpaceX founder Elon Musk in September 2019. The company invited her to a presentation where it unveiled the first stainless-steel Starship prototype at the Starbase factory located in Boca Chica Beach, Brownsville, Texas.

In 2022, she had the opportunity to ask Musk a question during a live broadcast of the SpaceX Starlink and T-Mobile partnership announcement, watch the video below.

Besides attending SpaceX Starship test flights, she has also attended other local events in Texas to report unique stories related to SpaceX and Tesla, including: SpaceX’s Starbase participation in the City of Brownsville’s “Charro Days” celebrations, and Tesla’s Cyber Rodeo Austin Gigafactory inauguration event, Tech Texas Job Fairs, as well as attended a couple of events at the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida where she witnessed the historic SpaceX Inspiration4 mission. Inspiration4 launched the first all-civilian crew atop Falcon 9 to orbit the Earth aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft. (Read some event stories featured below.)
